About BREW.

Actually originated in 1997, the word "weblog" was coined by Jorn Barger, which was eventually evolved to the short form, "blog" from yet, a controversial source person. It is believed that that someone just overturned the original meaning of "web[site] log" to "we blog". Arguably defined by many, it is worth noting that for the year 2011, over 150 million people adapted from writing their thoughts in journals to posting them on blogs.

And this page is just one of them.

Q: What made you start your own blog spot?

A: Hmm...let's see. I guess I can confidently say that this is not the first time I put down my thoughts into writing. I have been writing since I was a teenager when all I have was a cheap pen I usually borrow from my Mama and a small notebook I bought with my own savings. On the contrary, I started blogging during 2004 inspired by so many good friends. I thought, I don't understand why anyone will not venture to blogging their thoughts (whether good or bad). In my opinion, because of progressive technology upgrade, it is an opportunity to share anything (yes, at least more than half of the good). It is an avenue to inspire people, ambitiously, from all over the world.

Q: Aside from Blogspot, do you have other blog sites?

A: Technically, yes. I post entries in Multiply and Facebook.

Q: Would you prefer journal writing over blogging?

A: In the event that I have to choose, yes, I would still prefer journal writing. I believe that, with the inclusion of own handwriting, it reflects more about the personality of the writer. In fact, even until now, I still have my own set of journals. It is something that I can give as a gift to someone dear to me.

Q: Do you think writers are moody?

A. Haha! Without enough experience and practice, my answer to that question is a definite "yes".  I can only speak with the basis of reading my old entries.

Q: What's your writing or composition style?

A: That is a tough question. I often wear my heart on my sleeve when I write however, I use different styles in journal writing and blogging. I am more relaxed when it comes to writing with a pen than typing with a keypad. I can say I am more a bit creative when it comes to blogging, though.

Q: Who is Brew?

A: I admit this is a relative new nom de plume. It is inspired from a Disney movie, Brother Bear. With my nickname, I wanted something that also starts with a B to begin with. Maybe because I've always wanted to have a(n older) brother and that I can easily relate to guys (and girls), the evolution of brother to bru to brew just happened.

Q: Do you see yourself blogging in the next ten years or more?

A: Yes. As I mentioned earlier, I wanted to use blogging as a medium to inspire millions of people, in ways that I possibly can.

Q: Any message you can give to your readers and/or followers?

A: Welcome to my site. Just BE who you want to be, LIVE as if it is the last day of your life (on earth) and let it all BREW towards success! You're welcome to leave something good to share as you read my stories and if you permit, I will be glad to be a reader of YOUR own story. So write it, and I hope to know you through your strings of words. Enjoy, and have fun!
